Charlie now weighs in at a whooping 11 pounds!!! She is in the 50% for her weight and 88% for her height (23 1/2 inches). Her head is a little smaller at around 15 inches, which is in the 30%. I guess she will be tall!!!!!!!!

Shots
Charlie got her first series of shots today. Bodie and I had really struggled and talked a lot about giving them to her now or waiting until she was older. After talking with her pediatrician and doing some reading and research of our own, we decided to give most of them to her now and are waiting on a couple until she is older. She did pretty well with them. She had to get poked 4 times.....which I wasn't too happy about. The nurse did a great job and had all 4 of them done in under 10 seconds.....faster than I thought. We gave Charlie some Tylenol when we got home and she fell asleep shortly after that. I just put her in her crib for the night and she seems to be doing just fine. We will see how the rest of the night goes. I am just glad it is over with for now anyway.

Blow dryer!
The Event....... The Problem.......
The Result........ So, I have finally figured out why my dearest Charlie gets so upset during bathtime. She really enjoys being in the water and getting washed, that is not the problem. She continues to be happy as I take her out of the water and dry her off. Then, last week, I had the bright idea of using the blow dryer to help get her warm after the bath. She LOVES this!!! As soon as I try to get her clothes on her she starts to cry. Charlie doesn't cry very often and she had never cried like this after a bath, so I am thinking that something is hurting her as I am trying to dress her. So, I stop and wait a minute and in the meantime decide to put the blow dryer back on her to keep her warm.....she calms down. Then I try to continue dressing her and she screams as loud as she can. After a few rounds of this I am beginning to see that she is VERY mad at me when I take the heat of the blow dryer away!!! Needless to say, this leads to one tired girl after bathtime. Charlie is now sleeping peacefully in her crib!

Cousins
Normally every Sunday Bodie, Charlie and I go down to Parma to have dinner with our families and visit with everyone. I haven't gotten many pictures of Charlie with her cousins, but here are a couple of cute ones!
Jeb and Charlie

SMILES!!!
Today I had Charlie in her bouncer while I was showering and getting ready. I put a mirror on the toy bar so she could look at herself. She spent the morning laughing and smiling at herself in the mirror. It was so cute to watch her and listen to her "talk." It is so fun to see her little peronality develop and see all of the changes she makes on a daily basis!!!
