Most of the time when this is happening I remind Charlie that he is going to pull her hair, to which she replies "I don't care, he can pull my hair...big sisters don't cry!"

Charlie, 3 1/2 years!

Charlie is getting to be so grown up! She is a GREAT helper to me (most days!) and loves taking care of her brother. She likes to feed him (see below....they are sharing some yogurt!) and help me take care of him. She loves to help me around the house with cooking or cleaning, or just basically whatever I am doing. She got a new bike for her Birthday (thanks Nana and Pop!). Now that is is nice out, we are getting to ride it a lot more. She is getting pretty good, but still gets a little scared on it at times. She is also taking a dance class and will be performing next month! I will post pictures of that when I have some. She is learning how to write her name and LOVES all things "arts and crafts!" Wonder where she gets that?! ;) We recently bough her the OLD MAID card game and she loves it! She is learning how to play UNO and we have fun most nights playing cards with her before bed.
She is such a sweet little girl and is growing up way too fast!

Trevor, 7 Months!

Trevor is such a happy little boy! He has been such a wonderful addition to our family and I am not quite sure what we did without him. He is really sitting up well on his own and babbling like crazy. He likes to say "dada," "da," and just about every other form of "dad" you can think of. Won't say "mama." Little stinker! It is so fun to watch him learn! He loves watching his big sister and could laugh at her all day! He is such a sweet little boy!!!!

Charlie is 3!!!!

i can't believe my first baby is already three years old. Charlie's Birthday was on Thanksgiving this year. We had a great time celebrating with both sides of the family! Charlie is getting to be such a big girl and a GREAT helper for me. She is so sweet and I love that she is my daughter! Happy Birthday beautiful girl!!!!!

Life with TWO!

Two kids is an adjustment, to say the least! Trevor was a fussy baby and that made it more challenging at times. Charlie was great, right from the start. She always wanted to make sure Trevor had what he needed (including dolls) with him at all times. I am loving having a boy and girl and look forward to all the good times we have ahead of us. Here are some pictures to document our first little bit at home.

What's so hard about TWO?

I am babysitting my adorable niece, Leah, today. Right now she and Charlie are both fast asleep. I'm totally ready for another baby, right??!! ;)




But, seriously, any helpful tips for adding baby number 2???? I can't believe he'll be here in just a few weeks!

Oregon Coast!

We recently went to the Oregon Coast for our family vacation this summer. We had a great time and great weather to go along with it. Charlie enjoyed playing in the sand, but wasn't too sure about the waves. When I asked her on the way home what her favorite part of the vacation was she said "the hotel!" I think that is because we got to to swimming every night there and she also had a pretty cool bed (which I forgot to get a picture of). It was two chairs pushed together that made a little crib-like space for her to sleep in. She thought it was pretty cool and every time we mentioned it was time for bed, she made sure she got to sleep in her chairs! I am so glad we had this time to go together as our family of three and enjoy time with one another. I know once baby boy arrives it is going to get more hectic around here!

Fishing

Charlie decided to trade her BINKY for a FISHING POLE (good trade!). This is her first of many fishing trips.

Big Girl Bed

One day Charlie INSISTED on sleeping on the floor for her nap. She was DONE with her crib.


So, we decided it was time to get one of these! She loves her "big girl bed" and said that baby brother could have her crib. Whooo Hoo!!

Leah Marie

My precious Niece, Leah Marie, was born Friday April 23. She was 6 lbs 6 oz and CUTE as can be! I am so excited to be an Auntie to her! Charlie has been talking about all of the things she is going to teach Leah and is willing to share almost everything with her. I hope they become good friends as they get older. Congratulations Nik and Jenn....we love you!
